The previous vintage of Opawa Pinot Gris scored a prestigious #1 rating from Cuisine Magazine plus a gold medal, and many more accolades - and fast became one of our most popular aromatic wines last year. We are pleased to report that the 2024 also brings all the classic qualities of top-notch Marlborough Pinot Gris to the table. It's pale lemon in colour with flavours of crushed pear, stonefruits and lemon zest plus a touch of residual sugar to add a luxe element to the conversation.

They've packed plenty of mouthfilling and vibrant acidity into this wine balanced by a dry, long finish. The highly aromatic nature of this wine makes it super food friendly - pair with lightly spiced Asian influenced cuisine and thank us later.

Translating to 'smoky river' in Maori, Opawa Wine have mastered the art of putting flavour in the glass and the 2024 pinot gris seals the deal. The stony vineyard soils from the Opawa River are at the helm of the delicious aromas and flavours that this gris offers.
