WELCOME TO OUR HELP AND INFORMATION SECTION
We've worked hard to make your shopping experience at Advintage as easy, intuitive and enjoyable as possible. The following brief notes should give you all the information you need to make the most of our site. For more information, look at our FAQ and Terms & Conditions sections by clicking the links at the bottom of all pages on our site.
Creating An Account
Creating an account allows us to recognise you when you return, store your order information and simplify the buying process for you. You'll automatically be asked to either Log In or Create a new account when you click the checkout button on your first time ordering with us. But, if you'd like to open an account before then simply click the "Create Account" tab from the navigation bar at the top of our site and fill out the simple form.
You can view and update your account details at any time by clicking the "My account" button on the navigation bar at the top of our site.
If you have already opened an account with us, it's best to sign in each time you visit our site. This process is called Logging In and it will make your shopping experience faster and give you access to lots of cool features such as adding wines to your own personal Wishlist and viewing your previous purchases.
If you need to log in to complete an activity we will remind you.
To Log In just click on the Log In button on the navigation bar at the top of our site. If you're using your regular, personal computer (ie no shared access) then tick the 'Remember me' box at this point and next time you visit the site will automatically log you in.
You can browse the site without logging on, but you do need to Log In to Place an Order, Add to your Wishlist, View Past Orders and amend any of your account details.
If you know the name of the wine you're searching for then just type it into keyword search box at the top right hand side of our site.
If you'd like to browse a certain type of wine the easiest way to do this by using the Category search fields.
You can search by Variety, Country, Type or Price and the results can be refined each time you select a category option so you can drill right down to find the products you’re after. You don’t need to select all the categories, just select one to see your results and you can then select further options to refine your search.
If you do want to view all our wines in a category (and bear in mind there are over 700) just hit the ‘Show All’ on the search page. You can sort the wines by position, name and price. You can also view them as a List or Grid.
Your Shopping Cart
Your shopping cart is located on the top navigation bar under My Items.
When you find something you'd like to order just enter the quantity of bottles you'd like to order and hit the Add Items button. The product will be added to your cart and will be visible in My Items on the navigation bar. The total of your order (excluding Freight) will be shown at the bottom of My Items. You can remove products from your cart from any page, or if you'd like to amend the quantity just click the View Cart button under My Items to navigate to the Shopping Cart.
When you're ready to place your order just hit the Checkout button under My Items.
You can either create an account and have your details stored for next time or check out as a guest.
On the checkout page you can edit quantities in your shopping cart or delete items.
The total of the items will be shown as will the appropriate delivery charge for your delivery region. (If you haven't filled in your delivery details yet, don't worry it will update when you do).
If you have a Discount Code (i.e. if we sent you a special discount code) enter it in to the Discount Code box when you proceed through the checkout. The relevant discount will be applied to your order.
Redeeming Gift Cards
If you have been sent an Advintage Online Gift Card, enter the unique code in to the Gift Card box under My Items and hit apply. The voucher amount will be deducted from your order.
If the order you are placing is a gift you’ll have the opportunity to select gift options as you proceed through the checkout. Fill in the gift order details in the form that opens.
If you add a gift card and gift packaging your order total will be updated.
Delivery, Billing and Payment Details
You can Add, Update or Delete address and payment details from the checkout. You can set one Delivery, Billing and Payment detail as your 'Default' details. These will be the details that the site will use each time you visit, unless you elect to change to them.
Placing Your Order
When you are happy with all your details hit the Place Order button at the bottom of the final checkout page. Your order is now placed. You'll receive an order confirmation email shortly.
You can manage all your account details in the My Account section of the website.
As well as updating basic information such as Delivery Addresses, Payment details and Contact details there are also some special features to personalise your shopping experience.
From the My Information page you can tell us which types of wine you particularly enjoy.
From the My Account section you can edit how often you’d like to receive our newsletter.
When you're logged in you'll notice from every product page you can 'Add to Wishlist'. You can then write your own personal review of wines you have enjoyed on the My Wishlist page. You can email your Wishlist to your friends.
My Product Reviews
On every product we sell you have the option to review it and save your review to your account.
In the Previous Orders page you'll find a record of all the products you've bought from us. The current price and stock level will be displayed and you can add them to your cart if you wish to re-order them.
Freight is $8.99 per case, or less than a case, delivered anywhere in Mainland New Zealand.
Freight is $4.99 per case, or less than a case, delivered anywhere in the Napier & Hastings urban areas. This does not include rural addresses or Central Hawke's Bay.
Freight is FREE on orders of 36 bottles or more delivered anywhere in Mainland New Zealand.
Delivery outside of mainland New Zealand (i.e. Waiheke Island and Stewart Island) will be charged at $24.99 per case.
