From acclaimed Hawke’s Bay winemaker Tony Bish comes a commanding expression of Chardonnay—the 2023 Two Terraces. Sourced exclusively from the revered Two Terraces Vineyard in the cool-climate Mangatahi sub-region, this single vineyard wine captures elegance, power, and precision in every glass.

Crafted from hand-picked fruit and whole bunch-pressed to extract only the purest free-run juice, the wine is fermented in a selection of new and seasoned French oak barriques, imbuing it with nuanced complexity and textural finesse. The bouquet is lifted and aromatic, unfurling with culinary herbs, citrus blossom, vanilla bean, hazelnut, and ripe white peach. Subtle oak spice weaves through, adding dimension and allure. On the palate, it's intense and richly layered, offering a luxurious creamy mouthfeel that gives way to driving acidity and impressive length. Lingering flavours of crème brûlée, green apple, and lemon meringue leave a lasting impression, promising further reward with careful cellaring over the next 6 to 10 years.
