Shed 530 Estate was hit hard by Cyclone Gabrielle, with the historic site closed for nearly a year as the team undertook the massive job of rebuilding. Thanks to sheer grit and determination, the cellar door reopened in December 2024, and this wine stands as a beautiful reminder of what resilience and hard work can achieve.
'Mutu' is Shed 530's flagship range, and this outstanding 2020 merlot cabernet blend shows sweet French oak characteristics and underlying lavender and thyme aromas. Velvety tannins are supported by earthy rich tones and spice. This will develop beautifully with bottle age over the next 7-10 years.
