91/100 | Jane Skilton, The Real Review
We are huge fans of the Rockburn team and their generous take on the classic Central Otago varietals. This plush gris from the consistently good Devil's Staircase (drink early) range is in fine form in 2025 - with weighty off dry flavours and good texture. Recommended.
Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.

Jane Skilton writes "Very light smoke and nougat aromas are joined by those of honeysuckle, ripe nashi pear and melon. Mouth-watering acidity flows across the palate but there is a good depth of honeyed sweet apple and pear flavours to balance. Good length and intensity."
The winery writes "Aromas of nashi pears, ginger and lemon zest. On the palate, it's lusciously fruity with a long cleansing finish."
