91/100 | Stephen Wong MW, The Real Review
This pinot gris proves that Astrolabe are more than just sauvignon blanc. Dry and elegant with the Astrolabe touch, this is a beautiful food wine that will pair with a wide range of dishes. Vinted to age gracefully over many years.

The winery writes "Pure, crisp and dry wine with a fine minerality and delicacy of structure. Pear, quince and peach flavours dominate."
Stephen Wong MW writes "Showing some restraint to the floral, crisp pear and quince flavours, this light and airy pinot gris is just off-dry, given structure by fine, powdery phenolics which dry to white pepper. Subtle, savoury lees influence in the tarte tatin spectrum provide texture for the taut, saline acidity. Lovely balance in a light-weight, elegant and crisp package which will gain more complexity in the near-term."
