Petane Station are a seriously boutique producer based in Esk Valley, Hawke's Bay. Viticulturalist and winemaker Phil works with his graphic designer wife (and their two young children on hand as eager grape samplers) to produce lovingly crafted, small batch wines.
A vibrant, tropical expression of sauvignon blanc, layered with ripe passionfruit, pineapple and citrus zest. Partial barrel fermentation brings subtle creaminess and spice, adding texture and depth while allowing the bright fruit and fresh acidity to shine through a long, polished finish.

The winery writes "This wine was handpicked from a vineyard in Whatatutu, 45km north of Gisborne. A lush, generous wine with aromas of citrus, mango, kaffir lime leaf and white nectarine."
