Albarino is the famous white grape of north west Spain and an up and coming alternate option for New Zealand white wine drinkers. This Gold Medal winning example is very bright and fresh with an array of tangy tropical fruits on show, underpinned with a layer of racy acidity and some classic saline notes. Very tasty indeed - and a wonderful option for fans of dry riesling or sauvignon blanc to try.

The winery writes "This wine reveals classic Albarino notes of lime, peach and an assortment of tropical fruits. It is full and rich with mouthwatering acidity providing length and delicousness with the palate weight enhanced by ageing on yeast lees. It is delicious as a young wine but will gain some complexity with time in the bottle. It is the perfect accompaniment to seafood dishes."
