Crafted by Ollie Powrie in true garage-winemaker fashion, it’s a powerhouse of flavour and texture - a chardonnay that hits that perfect line between precision and indulgence.
Expect a nose of ripe stonefruit, citrus curd, and roasted hazelnut, with smoky oak and flinty minerality weaving through. The palate is deep, creamy, and beautifully concentrated, driven by bright Hawke’s Bay acidity and a long, layered finish.

The winery writes "Hand harvested from the legendary Lyon’s vineyard in Hawke’s Bay. Planted in 1996 in the stoniest of gravels. A field blend of Mendoza, Clone 15 and Clone 95 Chardonnay. 12 months in new and seasoned French oak barrels. Intense summer peach, citrus, roasted almonds and a lovely rich, complex palate."
