We have long championed this remarkable wee over-achiever and this modestly priced wine continues to be truly sensational value. The previous vintage of this gem took out a Trophy win at the NWWAs along with solid reviews from the usual suspects, and we're sure that this new vintage will follow suit.
The Y Series wines from Yalumba represent some of the Southern Hemisphere's best buys and this glossy tempranillo is clearly no exception. It's a very moreish style with flavours in the black plum and blackberry spectrum - a supple, and confident wine that's made to be enjoyed with tapas, pizza or chargrilled flavours.

Plush blueberry fruit with a classic mocha-choc tannin profile. A moreish wine to be enjoyed with tapas, pizza or char-grilled red meats.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A soft and fruity core with flavours of dark strawberry and plums, some boysenberry then a light earthy quality. Dry, fruity, balanced and well made with fine easy to dissolve tannins and all wrapped in a decent acid line. Well made, balanced and ready to drink from 2025 through 2028."
