FIVE STARS 95/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit - "Beautifully weighted with fleshy texture"
Excellent pinot gris from an iconic producer. Off dry and bursting with peach and pear flavours and a tickle of spice, this gris has been partially barrel fermented to give a perfectly balanced wine. Highly recommended.

The winery writes "Ripe handpicked fruit and gentle winemaking have given a wonderfully balanced wine. 30% of the juice was barrel fermented in older French oak barrels with the balance fermented in stainless steel tank. The wine shows delightful and intense aromas of pineapple, peach and honeysuckle, with pear, stone fruit and lemon on the palate, followed by a pleasant honey finish. This off dry wine is best served slightly chilled."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes '"Pristine and elegantly fragrant, showing poached pear, rockmelon, Gala apple, and white floral aromas on the nose. The palate is finely flowing and beautifully weighted with fleshy texture and refreshing acidity, making it highly enjoyable. At its best: now to 2029."
