Blackenbrook are a small, family-run winery in the Nelson region. They take a 'quality over quantity' approach to winemaking and, as well as being an accredited sustainable winegrowing producer, most of their wines are also unfined and vegan.
This little beauty is the first pinot blanc that Blackenbrook have produced but boy does it pack a punch. Vinted in a rich, silky style with notes of stone fruits and nuts on the palate, it's glorious and lush with a deliciously long finish. Bravo, Blackenbrook!

Cameron Douglas MS writes "Aromas and flavours of sweet citrus and green pears, apples and mandarin. There’s a fine satin texture with core fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet, a contrasting acid line and generous plush mouthfeel. Overall a balanced well made wine with a lovely texture and finish."
Bob Campbell MW writes "Off-dry Pinot Blanc with cream, vanilla pod, stewed apple, and subtle spice/clove characters. A little sweetness helps amplify the flavours and create a smoother texture. Attractive wine from a challenging vintage."
