Waimea Estates have absolutely smashed 'value for money' out of the park with their latest sauvignon blanc release. It's not often that you hear 'Gold Medal' and '$12.99' in the same sentence, so do yourself a favour and get in on this sharply-priced gem.
The 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is just delicious. Fruit was sourced from two of the finest Waimea Vineyards to create 7 unique parcels, which were then fermented with aromatic yeast strains and matured on lees for three months. The result is an absolutely banging wine. The classic 'leap out of the glass' qualities of sauvignon blanc are on show here - notes of ripe passionfruit, lime and lemon with a crisp, long finish. It completely defies its humble $12.99 case price. Go extra long.
