Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's seductively elegant and enticing on the nose with dark cherry, floral, warm mushroom and roasted nut aromas, followed by a succulent palate that's fleshy and richly textured. Tannins are polished and beautifully melded, making it wonderfully harmonious and velvety. Gorgeously restrained and poised."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "An excellent bouquet with varietal ripe scents of dark cherry and fleshy Doris plums, layers of spices from soil and French oak build complexity and power. Youthful, complex and new. A dry wine with a fleshy core touches the palate first, wood spices of vanilla and clove then roasted nut follow. There’s a taut, dry and youthful squeeze accentuated by the acidity with tannins adding texture and length. Nicely complex and dry a wine ready for drinking from late 2024 through 2032+."
Bob Campbell MW writes "Firmly-structured wine with intense black-fleshed plum, cassis. liquorice, strong spicy oak and a subtle floral lift adding charm to an otherwise robust red. Complex wine offering good cellaring potential."
Decanter writes "Intense and powerful dark berries, red cherries and barrel spices. Silky, polished tannins and acidity underpin bright red fruit."
