Tasting Notes
Y Series Cabernet Sauvignon always shows true flavours of cabernet sauvignon and the 2022 does not disappoint. Blackcurrants and blueberries are the primary fruits; the palate has mouth coating tannins that are perceptible yet not dominating. The line and length of this wine is generous yet shows true cabernet style of structure and control.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Lots of concentration of dark berries led by blackberry then a dark plum and moderate jammy ripeness. Dry, bright, simple, smooth, balanced and well made. Fine tannins and acidity dissolve easily on and through the palate. A wine ready to enjoy from day of purchase through 2028, on its own or alongside cheese or lasagna type dishes."
