EarthGarden is an exciting new range from Villa Maria with a focus on sustainable production, biodiversity and healthy soils. The wines are all organic and vegan and this new range is an important step in moving all Villa Maria vineyards to organic production by 2030.
This rosé is vinted from 100% Merlot and is refreshing and dry with well-balanced flavours of strawberry, apple and cherry. Their aim was to capture Hawke's Bay summer in a bottle and we think they've hit the nail on the head. Best served chilled with fresh seafood and good friends.

Tasting Notes
Michael Cooper writes "Offering top value, the 2021 vintage (4.5*) was made from Merlot, tank-fermented and lees-aged. Bright pink, it is full-bodied, with excellent depth of peach, spice and strawberry flavours, balanced acidity and a dry (3.6 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Certified organic."
The winery writes "This Organic Rosé from our Hawkes Bay Soler Vineyard showcases summer provoking aromas of blood-orange, rosehip and watermelon. The palate is rich and moreish, finishing refreshingly dry."
