Vandal NATURAL Gonzo Militia Field Blend 2022

Over a few beers three Marlborough winemakers decided that wanted a change from the norm. They decided to team up for a side project that would let them branch out into the natural wine world. Keeping their identities secret, Vandal was born. 

Gonzo Militia is Vandal's interesting little field blend. It's a mix of co-fermented pinot gris (35%), pinot noir (20%), viognier (15%), chardonnay (5%), malbec (5%), merlot (5%), riesling (5%), sauvignon blanc (5%) and syrah (5%). Fermented 100% in seasoned French barrels and aged for six months on full yeast lees, this unfined and unfiltered natural wine delivers texture, depth and unapologetic character.

This is a natural wine - don't be worried if there is a bit of sediment at the bottom or if it's bit cloudy, that's how it's supposed to be!
