92/100 | Cameron Douglas MS
Vinted from predominantly cabernet franc, tempranillo and pinot noir from Trinity Hill’s Hawke’s Bay vineyards, this is bright, tasty rosé from one of the Bay’s oldest producers.
Those delicious strawberries and cream flavours are nicely balanced by the savoury spice notes coming from the cabernet franc component. The finish is crisp and bright. Served chilled as an aperitif or with a deli platter.
The winery writes "Flavours and aromas of strawberries and cream, red currant and summer fruits gently compliment the natural zingy freshness. This is balanced by a small amount of retained sweetness."
