This is Boneline's flagship blend of cabernet sauviugnon, cabernet franc and merlot. Layers of dark plum flavours flood the palate with leafy tobacco complexity from the cabernet component adding interest and depth. This is refined wine that more than nods its cap to the wines of Bordeaux. Recommended.

The winery writes "Ruby core with garnet hue. Aromas of Red berries and currents mixed with tobacco and leather against a background of fragrant violets. Juicy plums, blackberries and redcurrants intertwined with spicy cider and dried herbs on the palate balanced with elegant dusty tannins, gentle acidity and a refreshing mineral reprise."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A complex and layered bouquet with powerful aromas of red berries and old red apple, iron and greywacke stones then layers of oak and violet. As the wine touches the palate a silky texture shows first then contrasting tannins and acidity layer through. Flavours of plum and blackberry, some black currant with tobacco spices of oak. Complex and quite delicious, contrasting and lengthy."
