The Loom is a local surfer term for the best wave of the day and this is celebrated winemaker Rod McDonald's flagship chardonnay from his Te Awanga vineyards. It is a typically coastal style with citrus and stone-fruit aromas combined with lovely brioche and spice complexity and a touch of minerality on the palate. This small batch, limited release is quite the powerhouse and is sure to impress anyone who enjoys premium Hawkes Bay Chardonnay.
