90/100 | Tonya Pitts, Wine Enthusiast
Shortbread Buttery Chardonnay 2022 delivers exactly what it says on the bottle - buttery notes of warm brioche, lemon curd and toffee lead the way, wrapped in fresh acidity from crisp green apple. Ripe mango and pineapple add a tropical lift, while a gentle lick of American oak brings lingering hints of coconut and vanilla spice on the finish. Having undergone 100% malolactic fermentation and oak ageing, it's lush, rich and oh-so creamy.

The winery writes "Buttery flavors of warm brioche, lemon curd, and buttered toffee are supported by a fresh acidity of crisp green apple and a tropical hint of ripe mango and pineapple. Enjoy on its own or with fresh seafood, creamy mushroom risotto, or a salad nicoise."
Tonya Pitts, Wine Enthusiast writes "This wine has great weight and balance. It is nuanced with baked Golden Delicious apple, honeyed peach and pineapple, all wrapped around Meyer lemon and holiday cooking spices, with a lengthy finish. This one speaks to a lot of flavorful dishes from around the globe."
