NEW OWNER SUPERDEAL
4.5 STARS 92/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
With Sacred Hill recently undergoing a change in ownership, the new owners offered us deals on their freshly acquired portfolio. We chose three options from their excellent reserve range and can now bring them to you at a superdeal price.
2019 was an exceptional vintage and this rich, ripe release is a sublime example of reserve-level Hawke's Bay wine. Those dark fruit flavours are backed up by warm spice notes and grippy tannins. Sensational value at just $14.99 on case buys.
Sam Kim writes "Gorgeously styled and immediately appealing, the bouquet shows blackcurrant, sweet plum, dried herb and roasted nut characters. It's equally attractive on the palate, offering plump mouthfeel and succulent fruit flavours, making it flavoursome and delightfully drinkable."
The winery writes "The wine exhibits a rich garnet colour. Complex on the nose, aromas of black cherry and Christmas cake are backed by leather, tobacco, baking spices and cocoa. The palate is rich flowing superbly through to supporting grainy tannins."
