Redmetal have long been one of our favourite Hawke's Bay producers and over the years we have developed a monster following for their graceful red wines. This merlot dominant blend has always been our best seller from their range and the 2021 is another excellent release - in our view it is the best MCF we have seen from Redmetal to date -  and a label update adds another layer of class to this much-loved wine. 

In true Redmetal style, this is a softly generous blend that clearly over-delivers on this price point, vinted in a middleweight style.

This is serious, thoughtful wine at a sensible price - a soft, approachable and food-friendly release from celebrated owner / winemaker Grant Edmonds. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
