Cameron Douglas MS writes "A core of purple and Ruby leading to a pink ruby rim. Lots of concentration and power with aromas and flavors of Doris plum skin, black currant, a mix of baking spices led by clove then vanilla, then a toasty wood smoke layer. Gravel-stony soil’s with a clay component scents, polished tannins are in abundance, a backbone of acidity. Delicious, balanced and well made, a wine ready for drinking from day of purchase through 2032."
The winery writes "Deep colour with complex dark plum and berryfruit characters along with subtle notes of violets. Well balanced, with supple tannins and mouth-filling flavour. It will evolve over a decade or more in the cellar."
