FIVE STARS 93/100 | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews 2021
A gorgeous example of fine single vineyard pinot noir from this excellent producer. On the nose, dark cherry and cassis fruits combine with notes of chocolate and five spice. Fine tannins add a textural element to this wine, which is complemented by generous, ripe dark berry fruits.

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Rich yet refined, powerful yet sophisticated, this engaging pinot shows dark berry, smoked game, thyme, almond and dark mushroom aromas on the nose. The palate offers excellent weight and depth, as well as silky mouthfeel and fine tannins, making it gorgeously harmonious and flavoursome."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Immediately enticing bouquet of pinosity and complexity, youthful energy and core of varietal aromas. Raspberry and plum, brown spices, cherry and dried roses, vanilla and cedar, silty gravels and a touch of dried herb. Persistent, complex, youthful and fruity on the palate with fruit, wood and regional flavours that reflect the nose. An abundance of tannins with a fine gravel texture, plenty of acidity and light salty edginess then a whisper of dried herb. A youthful expression needing either cellar time or decanting for service. Best drinking from early 2022 through 2028+."
