We tasted this wine in a recent lineup and insantly it was clear - this was an obvious addition to our international reds.
Pichilemu Reserve Carmenere 2022 comes from Chile’s coastal vineyards, where cool ocean breezes keep things fresh and balanced. It’s packed with juicy blackberry and plum, with a little hit of spice and black pepper that gives it just the right amount of edge. It hits that sweet spot of being rich without being heavy and bold without being over the top. Totally gluggable (especially at this wicked $16.99 pricepoint!) but just brilliant with a lightly spiced beef or venison casserole.

The winery writes "Ruby red in colour with violet hues. On the nose aromas of ripe dried fig along with forest fruits, interlaced with fine spices. One the palate it's balanced and velvety with ripe and friendly tannins. Long and persistent finish."
