GOLD MEDAL & 95/100 | NZIWS 2024
FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Peregrine's Saddleback range has a well established track record for over delivery and this gorgeous rosé is another out and out winner. The palate is packed with raspberry and red currant flavours with a splash of sweetness but it finishes crisp and dry, just how we like it. Great value.

Sam Kim writes "This is instantly appealing on the nose, showing watermelon, strawberry, Gala apple and floral aromas. The palate displays fine focus and juicy fruit intensity, wonderfully supported by bright acidity, leading to a lengthy, tasty finish."
Stephen Wong MW writes "A little shy on the nose, while the palate is expressive and airy. The citrus and watermelon flavours are tinged with savoury, lees-derived richness which runs alongside the tangy acid spine, culminating in suggestions of strawberries and cream with noticeable sugar on the rounded finish. A crowd-pleasing, sweeter style of rosé."
The winery writes "Lovely crisp bright aromatics of red fruits and florals followed by a light and refreshing palate with fresh summer berries and a morish finish. Soft pink, bright and fruity, a vibrant summer wine to enjoy with or without food."
