93/100 | Amy Wislocki, Decanter
Since the early 19th Century, Paul Jaboulet Ainé has been synonymous with quality wine in the Rhône Valley, and Jaboulet’s Hermitages are the stuff of legend.
We love a nice Crozes Hermitage at Advintage HQ. They show all the great flavours and personality from the syrah, while remaining medium bodied and easy to drink. This one boasts delicious aromas of red berries with sweet spices on the finish. Subtle, elegant and well balanced, it is a very safe bet from a prestigious producer.

An alternative to the more expensive and full-bodied Hermitage, this great Croze-Hermitage, made only with the Syrah grape, has good body and great fruit. Very tasty, it's a great company for food.
Amy Wislocki, Decanter writes "This is a real treat. Not only does this northern Rhône Syrah have nearly a decade's ageing under its belt, it's also from the incredible 2015 vintage, declared at the time by one leading producer in the region as 'surely the vintage of a lifetime'. Fruit-packed still and tannin-structured, this is serious stuff, dark and earthy with fresh black berry fruit, medicinal, iodine notes, black olive, and tertiary complexity. Gutsy wine, perfect for a winter's evening – snap it up while you can."
