Looking for something different? Try this deliciously dry Muscat from the up and coming Fontana Estate in Spain. Based in Castilla la Mancha, Central Spain, Fontana Bodegas manages 400 hectares of high-altitude, sustainably farmed vineyards. The winemaking team of oenologist Tomás Buendia and Master of Wine Sam Harrop aim to produce wines that offer an interesting modern take on local wine traditions, giving both a sense of place and remarkable value.
The winery writes "This is an elegant example of Dry Muscat, showing the freshness and balance of high altitude vineyards. Straw yellow bright and clean. Aromas of lychee, grapefruit and rose petal with a honeyed and minty background. The palate is easy to drink with a long aftertaste."
