We've been backing this sensational release from the get go and are thrilled to announce it has taken out the coveted #1 spot in Cuisine Magazines Pinot Gris Tasting! It's hard to think of a more deserving wine to take out that top honour. This is excellent repeat excellent Hawke's Bay Pinot Gris from the magic hands of winemaker Daniel Brennan and the Decibel team.
This charming wine is fruit-forward with luxe flavours of lush pear and green apples shining on the palate, balanced by zesty acidity and spice to round things out. It shows plenty of varietal character and wonderful texture, but remains fresh and light on the palate. We can't recommend this gris highly enough - it's a standout.

The winery writes "This Pinot Gris is a well-balanced and fruit-driven wine with a touch of wild complexity. Flavours of fresh pear, apple crumble, and a squeeze of lemon with an aromatic nose of cinnamon, beeswax, baking spice, and jasmine notes. The pallet is a nice tension between crisp zesty acidity and the textural lick of roundness of the finish."
