A fine example of medium-bodied Chateauneuf du Pape. 2019 was a good vintage and those ideal growing conditions have brought layers of juicy, dark Grenache (80% of the blend) into play with layers of anise, tobacco leaf and spice adding complexity and interest. Tannins are soft and quite rounded. The finish is long and persistent with a delightful mineral line and some fresh, creamy acidity.
A classic expression of Grenache dominant Chateauneuf du Pape. Medium bodied with a strong ruby red hue and a beautiful shine. Very fine on the nose with superb black fruit and spicy notes. Delightful and intense on the palate, with lovely balance and great elegance, from the moment it is bottled.
