GOLD MEDAL | NZIWS 2025
FIVE STARS 95/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
93/100 | Stephen Wong MW, The Real Review
This wine has long been the darling of the cafes and restaurants that surround the Martinborough Square and it's so easy to see why. 100% barrel fermentation and clever winemaking has produced a rich and opulent chardonnay with layers of creamy stonefruits and spicy oak. Expect to be impressed.

Stephen Wong MW, The Real Review writes "Ripe fruit, baked apple pie, peach and vanilla, cinnamon. Full-bodied, creamy palate with ripe fruit and toasty complexity. Generous, traditional style and long, cinnamon roll finish. Smoky oak finish, some drying tannins provide dimension and shape. Really quite a bruiser! Needs a year to integrate and possesses mid-term potential."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Gorgeously styled and expressed, the wine shows ripe apricot, rockmelon, vanilla, roasted hazelnut, and brioche aromas. The concentrated palate delivers excellent focus and drive, wonderfully enhanced by creamy texture and finely infused acidity, making it opulent yet harmonious with a sustained, sophisticated finish. At its best: 2026 to 2034."
The winery writes "A rich, complex Martinborough Chardonnay showing intense ripe stone fruit flavours underpinned by subtle spicy and barrel fermentation characters, enhanced by a silky palate texture and a elegant lingering finish."
