There's no doubt that Neudorf feature amongst the country's finest chardonnay producers and their wines consistently receive high praise from top international critics. Tiritiri is pitched at a more accessible price point than their other releases and it's an outstanding entry-level wine.
The fruit comes from three sites in the Moutere Hills and is a study in the careful balance between fruit, oak and acid. As with all Neudorf wines, it's elegant and classy but there are plenty of generous fruit characters on the palate to keep traditional chardonnay fans happy. Another excellent offering from Neudorf.

Crisp, weighty, satin textured and dry. Some fine fruit and wood tannins and a backbone of acidity ensure this wines instant appeal from textures through fruit and Chardonnay appeal. Well made and ready."
Stephen Wong MW, The Real Review writes "A bright, solar expression spanning ripe apple, citrus and white peach with a whiff of toast and cinnamon. A generously flavoursome, mid-weight palate of sun-ripened fruit flows across the tongue, tamed by gentle wood tannins which add spice to the back-palate before nutty notes appear on the finish. Immediately accessible with some near-term upside if left to develop more nutty complexity in bottle."
