Neudorf Moutere is in any conversation of New Zealand's finest Chardonnays - indeed many critics would say that it is the very pinnacle of our nations white winemaking. As always this wine is about elegance and restrained power. The fruit weight and palate roundness you expect from great chardonnay is there but the understated oak component (only 15% new) means this wine is a slow burn that sneaks up on your palate and seduces you over time. The 2024 is classic 'Moutere'.
