From one of New Zealand’s most respected biodynamic producers, the Millton Clos de Ste. Anne Chenin Blanc is a masterclass in purity, restraint and longevity. Produced only in limited quantities, this is a flagship wine that rightfully sits at the top tier of Gisborne’s fine wine story.
Drawn from a single vineyard and crafted with care, this reserve chenin is taut and mineral-driven, with delicate notes of white florals and honey leading into a citrus-edged palate full of drive and definition. There’s quiet power here — a wine built for the cellar, with layers waiting to unfold over time.
A bespoke, handcrafted expression from a pioneer of New Zealand organics and biodynamics, this is not your everyday white. It’s one for collectors, for patience, and for those who appreciate the long game in great wine.

The winery writes "This wine is complete; the acidity holds true all the way through. There are aromas of honey, pears and bees wax and quince paste with a hint of warm wool and starched linen. The savoury acidity and austere dry textured tannin are refreshing, while a quince-like fruit flavour gives lift and great length to the overall taste. This wine will evolve beautifully, and gain honeyed richness, over the next dozen or so years. In the world of fine wine this Chenin Blanc has its own place."
