It doesn't come much more boutique than this. This super small-batch producer crafts limited amounts of chardonnay, syrah and chenin blanc from around Hawke's Bay. Winemaker Darragh Hughes strives to produce wines that are expressive of their site and vintage.

The winery writes "Lovely layers of apple and citrus with exotic tropical notes on the nose. The palate is rich and ripe, red apple and lemon, this wine has good tension and texture from the Lees and oak and balance."
Joelle Thomson writes "This chenin shows everything that is great about this classic French white grape variety, with its fresh white floral aromas underpinned by notes of ripe peach, green apple and citrus. Pronounced but balanced acidity adds drive and length to each succulent sip of this wine. It is drinking well now and could age for up to and beyond a decade"
