Plush, textural sauvignon with the focus on balanced mouthfeel rather than the typically more vibrant and overtly acidic Marlborough model. Lots of tropical fruits still shine on the palate and the careful use of seasoned oak on a small percentage of the blend adds weight and complexity without denying those fresh Marlborough fruits. The final blend also includes 2.45% semillon, adding length and an elegant touch. Excellent wine.
