91 POINTS | NZ Wine Rater
A classic Marlborough Chardonnay. Aged in French oak for 11 months but with only a small portion undergoing malo fermentation, this is a fresh, elegant style of chardonnay. It's creamy on the palate and carries characteristic notes of stonefruits but these are kept in check by perfectly handled acidity.
The winery writes "This wine is a complex, textural wine that exhibits the slight creaminess on the mid-palate that is the key characteristic of Chardonnay. The structure still retains acidity giving length and freshness."
NZ Wine Rater writes "An appealing, moderately-intense bouquet with aromas of juicy, sun ripened peaches, and nectarine with hints of blossom, wheat biscuits, and cinnamon. Dry, fresh, and vibrantly tasty on the palate - taut, and saline. A well made wine with wide consumer appeal, moderate concentration, good balance, and length."
