91/100 'Premium' | Cameron Douglas MS
A firm and quite robustly framed premium Martinborough release. Loaded with layers of juicy dark fruits, some gamey complexity and a fresh, quite firm finish, this is quality wine that is made to be enjoyed around the dinner table. Highly recommended and made to be cellared.

Cameron Douglas MS writes "A good example of the variety and style with core aromas and flavours of dark cherry skin and fruit spice, plum and a touch of fruit compote then clove and baking spices reflect the use of some French oak and lees contact. A dry wine on the palate with a nice fruit purity framed by light to moderate tannin impacts and acidity for freshness and drive. Balanced, well made and ready to drink in late 2025 through 2028+."
