Ray Jordan writes "Leeuwin Estate has stuck with its riesling over the years, and it's a good thing too. In the best years, it really does come up trumps and this one stacks up with any previous releases. It's one of the finest and most delicately presented rieslings I can recall from Leeuwin, with a sort of talcy, bath salts character, albeit somewhat subdued, and a minerality that threads endlessly. Faint hint of lemon rind and spice, and a crunchy mouthfeel, with an extended palate profile. This is a pretty smart example of a Margaret River riesling."
Nick Ryan writes "While tasting at Leeuwin, bedazzled by chardonnay and impressed by cabernet, I was gently reminded that this stalwart from some of the oldest vines on the property is as good as ever. Soft lemons, limes, a little pith and leaf in there with the juice. A fine, talcy breadth across the palate."
