This remarkable 2020 shiraz is already picking up glowing reviews and is a textbook example of rewarding 'cool climate' shiraz. It's a big, dark, plush rendition with dark berry notes and layers of wonderfully attractive spice - a superb choice if you're looking for fulsome Aussie Shiraz that absolutely outperforms its asking price. Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Splendidly ripe and perfumed on the nose showing black/blueberry, violet, toasted spice and hazelnut characters, leading to a beautifully weighted palate offering velvety texture and plump mouthfeel. Generous and flavoursome with a lingering silky finish."
The winery writes "The 2020 Shiraz is full of brambles and blue/black fruits with a spicy lift. Layers of brooding dark fruits, spice and savoury characters are framed in fine oak. The sinewy tannin profile pulls the wine through to a long and moreish finish."
