93/100 'Excellent' | Cameron Douglas MS
91/100 | James Suckling
Stunning release from Jules Taylor. Ripe abundance of stone fruits on the palate intwined with buttery creamy notes developed from malolatic fermentation. An elegant wine focussing on the fruit expression and the vineyards, fresh, vibrant and medium weight. The care used for this release shows in the bottle. We are big fans. Jump in.

James Suckling writes "Aromas of yellow apples, Meyer lemons and grapefruit pith. The palate is medium-bodied with focused acidity, giving notes of honeydew melon, mandarins and chalk. Nicely balanced and fresh."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "A delicious wine, bright, taut, fresh, salivating and fruity with a varietal core of white and yellow peach, pink apple skin and a layers of wood spice and lees messages. A dry wine touches the palate with flavours of stone and tree fruits, citrus and texture. The acid line accentuates the flavours of citrus then tree fruits, fine tannins and core flavours of stone fruits and vanilla spices with a layer of wood spice and smoke. Balanced, fresh and crunchy with best drinking from day of purchase through 2031+."
The winery writes "Bright citrus aromas of lemon and mandarin rind combine with white floral blossom notes and crisp, cut apples, all complemented by a touch of toasted almonds and spice. The palate is ripe and juicy with elegant citrus and stone fruit flavours. Wild ferment and barrel aging have added complexity and texture, whilst retaining vivid acidity that leads to a focused, mouthwatering finish."
