Fresh, zesty and dry, this is a perfect example of food friendly Marlborough Pinot Gris. It's tighter and crisper than previous vintages and sets a new direction for Johanneshof with this varietal.
Yvonne Lorking writes "This is a dry, mineral-edged style of pinot gris for Johanneshof. The colour has a slight rose gold tweak to it and aroma-wise it’s showing notes of nashi but it’s also displaying a tropical, herbaceous edge meaning you could almost call it a gris for sauvignon lovers. Crisp, dry and showing soft pineapple and passionfruit flavours alongside soft spices and racy acidity."
