Dry to taste and with layers of tropical fruits on the palate, this is a serious viognier. The natural opulence of this variety has been handled with restraint in the winery, with its fulsome palate weight balanced by some flinty, reductive characters. This would be a brilliant aperitif wine or pair with Asian cuisine to really see it hit its straps.

Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Bright, pale yellow with a slight green sheen, even colour throughout. The nose is enticing; softly full aromas filled the glass with white floral, apricot, lemon and ginger, along with savoury lees complexity. Medium-full bodied, poised aromas of creamed peach, apricot, lemon entwined with an amalgam of white blossom, unfolding ginger dusting. The mouthfeel is creamy, flow smoothly with silky-fine phenolics, extended by spice and floral to a long, elegant finish. Excellent, balanced acidity provides freshness and lifts the fragrances. This is a refined and ethereal Viognier with immense fragrance, pure fruit and excellent acidity, complexity on a silky palate."
The winery writes "Bright, light golden color with some depth, a little paler on the rim. The nose is reserved in expression, with a concentrated core of lemon curd and stonefruits. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied, restrained flavours of white flesh stonefruits as well as musk and lemon curd. The mouthfeel is mellow with soft acidity and rounded textures, underlined by a fine phenolic thread. This Viognier is reserved in expression with some stone fruit, complex savoury notes, and flinty reductive flavours on a soft palate."
