Hopesgrove Estate Syrah 2019

The winery writes "Dark, deep, ruby-red colour. The nose is elegant in proportion, but well packed with deep and solid aromas of ripe blackberry fruit, black plum and a layering of dark herb and earthy notes, and a background of cedar wood, black pepper and liquorice. Medium-full bodied, Syrah that is rich and harmoniously presented with a palate that is complex and concentrated with savoury fruits and is layered with rich flavours of ripe blackberries and plums entwined with fragrant herbs, earth, black pepper and liquorice. The mouth feel is smooth flowing with fine tannin providing structure. The acidity is soft and integrated and the wine carries seamlessly to an elegant finish."
