FIVE STARS 93/100 | Candice Chow
Hopesgrove is the Paki Paki hillside vineyard venture of Pieter Koopman and this delicious wine is a testament to this special piece of dirt and Pieter's undoubted winemaking prowess. This vibrant and fresh rosé offers lush floral and red fruit aromas, perfectly balanced by subtle spice and minerality. Dry to the taste, this wine will be an excellent match for an antipasto platter. Simply delicious.
The winery writes "A vibrant pale pink colour with copper hues. A very fresh and elegantly presented nose with a delightful aroma of strawberries and red florals, along with some confectionary notes. Dry to taste and light-medium bodied, the palate is fresh and youthful with delicate flavours of cherries, subtle spice, and minerality. The palate flows along a very fine textured line, leading to a light, faintly piquant finish."
