Grand Cuvee 1531 de Aimery Brut is always on the list of our top French bubbles each year and we were thrilled when we were presented with a rosé version of this classic. It's chardonnay dominant, with parcels of chenin and pinot noir in the mix too and is made in the traditional crement style.
It carries gorgeous delicate red berry notes, lovely textural mouthfeel and perfectly balanced acidity. Coupled with the classy bottle and traditional livery, this will be a smash hit on your table this summer.
The winery writes "The wine has a beautiful salmon pink colour with a delicate and lingering sparkle. The bouquet presents a great aromatic richness and notes of red fruits of strawberry and raspberry. The palate is characterised by a nice unctuousness and a well balanced acidity ending with a lingering and refreshing finish. Enjoy with Sashimi, oysters, mussels and cured salmon."
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "Gorgeous pale apricot colour; the inviting bouquet shows white peach, mandarin, floral and strawberry, followed by a beautifully rounded and silky palate. The wine offers lovely persistency and terrific drinkability."
