James Suckling writes "Floral and perfumed aromas of raspberries, rhubarb, rose petals, lead pencil and dark cherries. The palate has seamless tannins with an underlying power and pure acidity, yielding a tightly wound wine that will unravel in years to come. Made from 30-year-old, biodynamically grown vines. Exceptionally balanced and poised."
Stephen Wong writes "Perfumed floral nose with crystalline small red fruit dusted in icing sugar. Very precise and aromatically layered. The palate is compact and concentrated with very good density and depth, wrapped in grainy, ripe tannins. Very long, evolving finish with a classic peacock’s tail. The structure currently dominates the back-palate and this will need time to emerge properly but will be spectacular when it finally does."
