Falconhead has always been a popular choice with the Advintage Faithful and the 2020 is a cracker from an exceptional Hawke's Bay vintage. Medium weight and vinted in a fruit forward style, this attractive wine shows a silken French oak influence with spicy regional berry flavours.

Tasting Notes
Look for aromas of bright, and dark fruits with hints of vanilla and white pepper spice. The palate is medium bodied with wonderful balance and fine length and tannin.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Aromas and flavours of balck currant and sweet red plums, there’s a fine layer of white pepper then barrel spices, soft clay and white smoke. A soft touch and the wine enters the palate, flavours of raspberry and black currant are surrounded by fine tannins and medium+ acidity. A nice even finish, balanced and well made with a decent length and complexity."
