95/100 | Stephen Wong MW, The Real Review
A legendary pinot noir which continues to out performer previous vintages. Huge fruit depth and complexity comes from old vines of over 20 years. This won't disappoint.

The winery writes "Dry River Pinot Noir 2021 is a deep, dark colour with a subtle but generous nose. Aromatics of currants, mulberry, dark plum, baking spice and a lift of oak unfurl over time. The palate is bright, rich, smooth and seamless, showing a compact wine that gives great pleasure now and will continue to do so for the next 10 years and more."
Stephen Wong MW writes "Light ruby. After some initial woodiness on the nose, it settles into an ethereal, sweet bouquet of wild berry, dried flowers, rosehip and hibiscus, weaving through subtle spice and minerality. The palate flows outwards elegantly towards the delicately floral finish with blood orange and a sweet earthiness. Not a blockbuster, this mid-weight pinot noir has perfume, finesse, a certain Burgundian transparency and finesse."
